I'm learning how to play with hot wax (and cold wax, but just hot here). This was my fourth little tile where I was just playing around, learning how it behaves and what I can do with it. This being number four, yes, there were others ... but this one so far is my favorite, and I don't want to bore you all with the rest. Most of it will end up here. I just have to be happy enough with it to share, first!

I'd love to know what kind of wax you use?, I've been researching encaustic painting and I see it's usually beeswax. I play around with my soy way a bit with some paint but would love to learn more about using beeswax if that is a better thing to use
