Wool roving over pipe cleaner armature, air clay hooves and horn, glass bead eyes, August 2012. About 4" tall.

My second attempt at needle felting (the first was a bumblebee, and will not make it to dA)! He is a little bit derpy, but I learned a lot from him -- like, don't use pipe cleaners on things with spindly little legs and tail. And that I should maybe acquire a couple of thimbles. You'll probably be seeing more of this type of thing from me. I think I like it. :) Plus I have a boatload of roving still to use!

I'd use those bricks in every background if I could. ;) But I think that would be over-doing it a little.

I know what you mean. Once I find something I can use as a backdrop for gaming minis, I have a tendency to over-use it rather than taking a chance with a bit of variety. At a glance at your other pictures, it looks like you don't have that problem, though. :D

No, I've resisted revisiting the bricks again (yet) ... they're so tempting, though, with all that delicious fluffy moss! I'll be using them again soon, most likely. :)
